Job Description

Salary: $60,710 - 60,710 per year Requirements:

• Certification in HVAC, such as N.A.T.E. Core Service plus Air Distribution Services Specialist or K.A.T.E. Specialty areas
• Possession of HVAC Excellence Professional certifications: Light Commercial Air Conditioning, Gas Heat, and Green Awareness
• UA Star HVACR Mastery Certification
• Minimum of 16 hours of continuing education annually from recognized HVAC training programs
• At least one year of relevant experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Operate and maintain stationary engines and mechanical equipment, including air compressors, generators, motors, and steam boilers
• Monitor operating conditions by reading gauges and meters to ensure safe and efficient equipment functioning
• Adjust manual or automatic controls to maintain recommended operating ranges
• Conduct visual inspections of equipment to identify malfunctions or required maintenance
• Perform equipment maintenance, including tightening fittings and replacing components using hand and power tools
• Implement boiler tuning and efficiency testing as needed
• Conduct water treatment tests and add chemicals to prevent equipment issues
• Document operation and maintenance actions in logbooks during shifts
• Coordinate tasks with other workers related to equipment operations
• Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager
