Job Title: School Registered Nurse (1:1 RN)

Duration: 22 Weeks
Hours: 35 hours/week
Licensure Required: Active Illinois RN License
Pay Rate: $42–$45/hr
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking School Registered Nurse for an exciting job in Burbank, IL.
ResponsibilitiesProvide direct 1:1 nursing care to the assigned student throughout the school day, including during bus transportation.
Begin and end each shift at the student’s home to support safe transport.
Monitor and manage medical needs, including:
Seizure activity
Blood glucose monitoring
Medication administration
Feeding support (oral or tube feeding, if required)
Provide hygiene and personal care assistance (toileting, diapering, lifting, positioning).
Maintain ongoing health monitoring, documentation, and communication with educational staff and guardians.
Follow the student’s individualized healthcare plan and report any health changes or concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate nursing records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Participate in care planning, meetings, and required trainings.
Ensure student safety at all times, including during transitions and classroom activities.
Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License
Experience with pediatric, special needs, or medically fragile populations preferred
Ability to lift, position, and provide hands-on physical assistance
Strong communication, documentation, and independent decision-making skills
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with school staff and families
