Join our clients Private Equity team in New York City, specialising in placing investment professionals into private equity strategies, as well as sourcing top-tier IR & Sales talent for a variety of investor types. This role offers the chance to work with leading firms and play a critical part in building high-performing teams within the private equity sector.

The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will help grow this thriving desk, leveraging your recruitment expertise and business development skills to deliver exceptional results for clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to negotiating offers and providing post-placement support.
• Partner with private equity firms to identify and secure top talent in investment roles, IR, and Sales.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs.
• Generate new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing clients.
• Provide market insights to clients and candidates, keeping them informed of trends and opportunities in the private equity sector.
• Achieve individual revenue targets while contributing to the success of the Private Equity team.

About You

• Proven billing track record of $175k+ (recent, with some self-generated business).
• Experience in recruitment, ideally within the private equity, investment, or financial services space.
• Strong knowledge of the private equity landscape, including various investment strategies and investor types.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
