Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and execution of advanced quality control programs for fabricating hydraulic steel structures and bridge structural steel, ensuring full compliance with AWS D1.5 and all critical project requirements.
• Oversee rigorous inspection and testing activities to ensure welds, materials, and structures consistently meet-and exceed-demanding quality standards and client expectations.
• Ensure strict adherence to USACE and DOT specifications for hydraulic and bridge components, reducing risk and maintaining exceptional levels of structural integrity.
• Collaborate closely with project engineers, welders, and fabricators to quickly identify, evaluate, and resolve complex quality challenges, implementing strong corrective actions that support continuous improvement.
• Enhance and streamline quality control documentation, including detailed inspection reports and non-conformance records, maintaining precise data accuracy and generating insights to inform future projects.
• Develop, mentor, and guide a high-performing quality control team, delivering expert training on AWS D1.5 requirements and advanced quality practices to promote growth and operational excellence.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree 
• Experience with AWS D1.5 code and critical quality standards for USACE and DOT bridge projects.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent advanced certification highly preferred Ability to use ERP systems.
• Experience with Radiographic Testing of welds.
