Forklift/Cherry Picker Operator job at Express Employment Professionals - Charlotte Charlotte, NC, US

Job Description

Schedule: Monday-Friday $17-$19/hr - depending on experience.

Responsibilities for Forklift Opertors:

** Must have 2 yrs experience operating ALL the forklifts.
Shipping receiving and hands on GL dock work.
Able to do Heavy lifting around the warehouse (50+lbs).
Pick customers’ orders accurately and correctly by hand and with forklifts in a timely manner from designated locations.
Use a RF hand-held scanner, totes, rolling cart, and/or a pallet and pallet jack for large orders.
Able to read instructions and count Accurately.
** Communicate with supervisor, Attention to Detail, and do inventory control.
Load and unload trucks correctly and accurately.
Transport the completed orders to the designated area in the warehouse.
Operate Any and All warehouse equipment safely and efficiently as required.

Requirements of ALL Associates:

High School diploma or GED.
2 years experience in operating ALL of the forklifts.
2+ year of experience picking orders in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills
Able to read and count accurately.
Better than average attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and stand/walk for the duration of scheduled shift.
