SUMMARY:

At National Heritage Academies (NHA), the Power Platform Developer is part of the CRM Dynamics Team within the Technology Services Department. This position will report to the CRM Dynamics Developer Team Lead and is a key member of a high-performing team of software professionals responsible for building, supporting, and continuously improving the Customer Relationship Management platform(s), currently Microsoft Dynamics 365.

The Power Platform Developer will be responsible for developing and architecting applications using Microsoft Power Platform components. This Developer will be working with internal stakeholders to create and support Canvas Apps, Canvas Pages, Model Driven Apps, Power BI Data Flows, Cloud Flows, PowerFx and Solutions using PowerApps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. The selected individual will work out of the National Heritage Academies Service Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This person will be a strategic partner to multiple business teams, a champion for a community of users, a catalyst for effective teamwork, and support the team to deliver maximum value to the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in maintaining and improving NHA's existing CRM software suite with a focus on system optimization and system quality.
• Driven to share their knowledge with others, helping to guide technical conversations in a productive manner.
• Synthesize business requirements and understanding of NHA's purpose and vision to evaluate and build excellent solutions for NHA's stakeholders.
• Understanding of internal systems and their integrations.
• Build, deploy, and support Microsoft Power Platform custom applications.
• Designing, building, and testing Power Platform solutions working closely with developers and product owners.
• Participate in technical design sessions and requirement gathering; working closely with product owners to establish their needs, translating these into business requirements and building well-architected solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
Use Agile best practice to design, develop, and maintain solutions built in enterprise applications platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years experience in building custom apps for Dynamics 365/Power Platform using Canvas or Model Driven apps
• 5+ years experience in Microsoft Dataverse
• 3+ Experience working with Dynamics 365
• Knowledge of security standards within Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
• Bachelor's Degree
• Microsoft Dynamics or Power Platform certifications are preferred
Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities
