Job Overview:
The Drywall Finisher is responsible for preparing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth, high-quality appearance ready for painting or final coating. This role requires a skilled tradesperson with strong attention to detail, efficiency, and safety practices. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years or more of experience in drywall finishing and demonstrates pride in craftsmanship and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare drywall surfaces for finishing, including taping, mudding, and sanding.
• Apply compound, sealants, and textures using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Repair cracks, holes, and imperfections in drywall surfaces.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Work efficiently to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure proper tool care.
• Always follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with other production team members to ensure smooth workflow and job site coordination.

WHO YOU ARE

• 2–4 years of drywall finishing or related construction experience required.
• Proficient in taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing techniques; strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of drywall materials, finishes, and safety practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
