Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Mobile, AL, 36608. If you have a passion for driving and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel use in accordance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Participate in ongoing training and safety meetings to enhance driving skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to operate various types of trucks and trailers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

You should be proficient in:

• DOT Medical Card
• Current CDL License

Salary info:

$20 - $25 / hr
