Scheduled Weekly Hours: 7.5 Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time (7.5 hours/week) Activities Assistant for our Tweeten- Spring Grove location in the memory care unit! This is your opportunity to provide care to residents while doing the work you love and having FUN! The Activity Assistant plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents in assisted living and nursing home environments. This position involves planning, organizing, and implementing engaging activities tailored to the needs and interests of seniors, including those with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other cognitive impairments. The Activity Assistant will work closely with residents to promote social interaction, physical activity, and emotional well-being. What will this position look like: We are looking for someone who can work 7.5 hours a week with residents who have dementia, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's. Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday/Wednesday from 3:00pm - 4:30pm Every other Wednesday and Saturday will rotate. Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 4 months of hire.
