Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Accounting & Reporting Business Partner to join our client to lead financial reporting and serve as a critical liaison across multiple business units in Malvern, PA or Worcester, MA. This hybrid, direct-hire position is highly visible, working closely with executives, controllers, and financial directors to ensure accurate reporting, effective service delivery, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and international standards. The role requires balancing strategic oversight with hands-on support, while coordinating activities across onshore and offshore teams. Ideal candidates will bring deep technical expertise, proven leadership experience, and a passion for continuous process improvement within a global organization.

Compensation:
$140,000 – $150,000 base salary plus bonus opportunities

Work Schedule:

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting & Reporting Business Partner:
• Act as the primary link between shared services, offshore accounting partners, and business unit leaders, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on deliverables.
• Oversee financial close and reporting processes for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external standards.
• Guide a team of financial analysts while providing indirect oversight of offshore accounting resources; support both strategic direction and day-to-day execution.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and intercompany activity while strengthening internal controls and compliance frameworks.
• Partner with senior finance leaders to deliver insightful reporting, support decision-making, and drive service improvements across the organization.
• Lead or contribute to system implementations, upgrades, and continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.

Qualifications and Skills for the Accounting & Reporting Business Partner:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required.
• 10–12 years of experience in general ledger accounting and reconciliations within a large, global organization.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP; exposure to IFRS and international compliance standards is a plus.
• Leadership experience managing direct teams and outsourced service providers, with the ability to balance strategic leadership and hands-on involvement.
• Proven experience with ERP and reporting systems (SAP, QAD, Magnitude, or similar), along with advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Background in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) and a track record of driving operational efficiencies.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across diverse teams, cultures, and geographies.

Why Join Us?
