Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Finance to lead our financial operations in Fresno, California. This role will oversee all aspects of financial planning, accounting, and reporting while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will provide strategic insights to drive business growth and maintain financial stability. Responsibilities: - Lead the development and execution of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. - Manage accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close procedures, audits, and adherence to company policies. - Provide strategic financial analysis to support organizational decision-making and long-term goals. - Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and growth opportunities. - Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management and risk mitigation strategies. - Supervise and mentor finance and accounting teams to promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. - Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial performance and identify operational efficiencies. - Build and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain effective internal controls. - Support activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and investments as required. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in finance or accounting, preferably in manufacturing or agriculture. - Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data-driven business analysis. - Proven ability to lead strategic financial planning and manage complex budgets. - Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. - Solid understanding of cash flow forecasting and financial reporting processes. - Demonstrated success in managing audits and ensuring compliance with regulations. - Experience working with external financial entities, such as auditors and banks.
