Project Overview

Client is seeking a UX Designer for a 6+ month contract to support consumer-facing web and native applications. This is a remote role requiring strong overlap with both East Coast and West Coast working hours (EST/PST). The designer will focus on delivering intuitive, scalable user experiences and driving growth through thoughtful product design, from early concepts to high-fidelity execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into clear, elegant, and scalable user experiences across web, Android, and iOS applications.
• Generate and prototype new ideas and solutions that support product growth and innovation.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, UX designers, and researchers to deliver user-centered design solutions.
• Present design concepts, case studies, and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Work effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones, maintaining clear communication and alignment.
• Contribute to and evolve design systems, interaction patterns, and visual standards.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in digital product design for consumer-facing web and native mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating case presentations, design strategy, and zero-to-one product work.
• Hands-on experience with Android and iOS application design.
• Expertise in low- and high-fidelity prototyping and interaction design.
• Advanced proficiency with Figma.
• Strong communication, presentation, and internal stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proactive, self-driven approach with a strong sense of curiosity around user behavior and interaction design.

Must Have:

• Android and iOS application design
• Digital product design and design systems
• Animation and interaction design
• Low- and high-fidelity prototyping
• Figma
• Design strategy and growth-focused thinking
• Case presentations and executive-level communication
• Cross-functional collaboration

Nice to Have:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Ability to prototype ideas and concepts in live HTML/CSS (strongly preferred and prioritized)
