**Hiring Metal Fabricators/Sheet Metal Mechanics in Lakewood, NJ!** Join our team as a Metal Fabricator supporting our metal fabrication shop. You will work on a 1st shift schedule, gaining hands-on experience with metal fabrication machinery such as presses, saws, CNC, and more. **WEEKLY PAY!!** Shift/Pay: 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm Pay Rate: $20-30/hr **Description:** + Operate metal fabrication machinery and tools including punching, drilling, tapping, deburring, grinding, and spot welding. + Inspect parts according to customer blueprints to ensure quality. + Perform sheet metal fabrication tasks such as cutting, bending, and grinding metal. + Utilize hand tools and measuring tools such as squares, protractors, and calipers. + Operate rolling cylinders and cones to bend and form metal. + Lift up to 35 lbs as needed. **Qualifications/Skills:** + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the sheet metal or metal fabrication industry. + Proficiency in press brake operation is a plus. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with hand and power tools, grinder, punch press, and drill press. + Knowledge of sheet metal assembly and roll forming techniques. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakewood, NJ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
