Job Description

RF Integration and Test Engineer

Our client, a leading federal defense contractor is seeking an RF Integration and Test Engineer you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for system integration and test of hardware/software components responsible for the realization of complex GPS and Navigation systems. You will contribute to CONOPS, requirements validation, system verification, performance analysis, design support, integration, test, and verification of these systems.

As part of the Smart Munitions team, you-re responsibilities will include:

- Participate in the planning of technical approaches, resources, schedules, budgets and equipment required for the testing and evaluating of new RF and GPS/Navigation systems, products and special devices.
- Prepare test and diagnostic programs
- Design test fixtures and equipment
- Complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development lifecycle.

Required Skills

- Must be US Citizen due to work being performed
- Able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (active Secret is preferred)
- BS degree in a STEM field and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
- Proficient use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories related to RF and GPS/Navigation Systems
- Experience generating system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools
- Experience preparing test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products
- Experience developing and conducting functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems
- SW Tools: Python scripting and MATLAB in order to determine the output of simulation
- HW Tools: multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers
