The Registered Nurse in the Outpatient Dialysis unit provides skilled nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. This role requires at least one year of chronic dialysis experience and involves working closely with patients and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care during dialysis treatments.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient condition.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Document patient information accurately and completely.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control policies.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of one year of chronic dialysis experience.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Epic charting system.
Special Considerations:
- Must be able to work every other weekend, and potentially more to meet unit needs.
- Holiday RTO will be submitted as preferences.
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.
- Travel pairs will not be considered.
- Open to first-time travelers.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- Block scheduling is per manager discretion.
- Facility is able to call off once per two week pay period.
Scheduling:
- Shifts are Monday, Wednesday, Friday (0900-2130) and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (0500-1730).
- Closed on Sundays.
