Responsibilities

• Interpret, implement, and improve quality assurance standards
• Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance processes
• Review and monitor quality and inspection systems
• Plan, conduct, and oversee testing and inspection of materials and products
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Collect and compile statistical quality data
• Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes
• Organize training sessions to meet quality standards
• Coordinate and support on-site audits by external providers
• Monitor risk management activities
• Ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quality assurance or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to interpret and implement standards and procedures
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management

Status

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong computer skills
• Able to work independently or with team
• Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
• Relevant regulatory requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED
• PCQI HACCP certified
• Experience with Quality inspections and audits
• Familiar with GMP, SQF, and KOSHER
• Implementation of corrective action programs
• Good communication skills verbal and written
