GUT-CHECK / SUMMARY : We're looking for full-time employees with retail experience and a desire to develop a long-term career. You're a smart, high-energy, positive-minded pet lover. Maybe your skills have gone unnoticed at Petco or PFE, and you think you'd be a better fit at a smaller store more intensely focused on helping pets and their owners. Or maybe you're currently under-appreciated in a larger corporate retail environment and would like to have more of an impact on your store. We'll train you about the pet world and our role in it.You are applying for "Rover / Relief Cashier." In this role, you will work in all 4 of our locations. Interviews and Basic Training take place in our Novato store. After training, you will be scheduled to cover the shifts of people who are on vacation or out sick. As a Rover, you will work in all 4 of our stores. Down the road, when a non-Rover position opens up, you can request to be assigned to that location as your Home Store, if you wish. Our 4 stores are all in Marin County, and all within a few miles of each other. ( Greenbrae, San Rafael, Mill Valley, and Novato ).

Compensation :
There are full-time and part-time positions available, including the possibility of starting out part-time and moving to full-time. Full-time means 40 hours per week, and part-time means between 20 and 30 hours per week. As a retail store, everyone is expected to be able to work during the day, evenings, and weekends. We have four locations, and you will be scheduled to work in all four stores. Some time after your initial training, you will be assigned a "home store."
