FLOAT: PCT/CNA Must have reliable transportation, will be floated to Elmer if needed. The Patient Care Technician takes direction from the registered nurse. The main functions are to maintain a safe, clean environment in patient rooms and service areas, assists licensed personnel with basic patient needs and monitoring health and vital signs. Required Experience High School graduate or equivalent. 2 years experience as a CNA,CMA OR PCT required in an ACUTE setting. Must have patient bedside experience; taking vitals Certification/Licensure: CNA, PCT accepted. AHA BLS General Info Weekend Requirements: Every Other Scrub Color: Steel Grey Holiday: Every other RTO: No more than 3 days First Day Instructions? /Orientation: Failure to complete the full orientation will result in immediate termination- once scheduled, candidate does not have the option of rescheduling any classes. Candidate will receive an email directly from Inspira the Friday before the Monday start. The email will contain the following information; They will receive instructions for signing on to the Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream Module from Human Resources sometime prior to 8:30 on Monday. Monday GEO will be Virtual from their own computer. The modules assigned must be completed by Monday or they will be removed from the orientation list. In person class schedule list- Typically Tues-Thurs- these classes are held in multiple locations. The location may not be listed in the original email, candidate is required to use Health Stream to determine class location day of. Please Note *The POCT class will required to attend and is not during orientation week. Unit based orientation schedule from manager. Badge ID Link- instructions on how to make an appointment t o receive their ID badge in person. Photo submissions are not permitted. Must be complete during orientation. The Badge is required for clock ins.
