The Outpatient Neurologist will join a growing practice that specializes in the outpatient care of general Neurology and Neurophysiology patients. Daily responsibilities include conducting new patient consultations and follow-up visits, performing focused neurological exams, developing evidence-based treatment plans, managing medications and prior authorizations, interpreting and acting on diagnostic studies (EEG, EMG/NCS, MRI, CT, labs), performing office-based procedures where appropriate (e.g., EMG, Botox for chronic migraine), coordinating multidisciplinary care with primary care and subspecialists, providing patient education and lifestyle counseling, documenting efficiently in the EHR, responding to patient messages and refill requests, reviewing results and communicating timely findings, participating in quality improvement and care pathway initiatives, and contributing to teaching or case conferences as desired.
