Job Description

Salary: $126,100 - 227,950 per year Requirements:

  • I need candidates who have been located in the United States for the past three consecutive years.
  • Candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. persons with the ability to secure and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • This position is primarily remote; however, the candidate must reside near the Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, or Maryland area.
  • I require a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Candidates should possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in M365 administration.
  • A strong comprehension of M365 security and compliance features is essential.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills are a must.
  • Experience working with a federal agency is highly preferred.
  • Candidates should hold one or more Microsoft 365 certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, Enterprise Administrator Expert, or Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
Responsibilities:
  • I expect you to lead the management and optimization of the Exchange Online environment, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient email communication across the organization.
  • You will need to develop and enforce policies for email retention, sensitivity labeling, and classification, ensuring adherence to federal regulations and organizational standards.
  • I will count on you to implement email-related security measures, including threat protection, to guard against evolving cyber threats and ensure compliance with federal security guidelines.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the Exchange Online environment meets all federal compliance mandates, especially those related to GCC tenants, such as security, retention, and data governance policies.
  • You will lead the integration of Microsoft Defender and Sentinel for comprehensive security monitoring and incident response, ensuring policies are in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • I need you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Exchange Online capabilities with organizational needs, driving improvements in email management, security, and user productivity.
  • It is important for you to stay updated on advancements in Exchange Online and related Microsoft 365 technologies, proactively implementing enhancements to support organizational objectives.
  • You will oversee monitoring email flow, usage patterns, and service health to identify issues and opportunities for optimization.
  • You should ensure comprehensive documentation of system configurations, policies, procedures, and service records to support auditing, compliance, and future planning.
