Our client is looking for a Medical Assistant in the Jackson, MI area.

Monday - Friday
Hours: 8am-5pm
Compensation: Competitive

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

Performs all duties as assigned to ensure the Integrated Health Department runs efficiently and effectively.
Duties include but not limited to screenings, vitals, medication preauthorizations, provides timely response to consumer inquiries, referrals, and acting on care alerts assigned.
Provides assistance to physician and nurses in completing tasks such as locating and uploading lab results and medical records, contacting pharmacies for additional medication related information, and faxing paperwork as requested.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program for State of Michigan
High School Diploma
