MUST SIT ONSITE 3 DAYS A WEEK IN IRVING, TX. **This is a global team, and this person will be required to provide shift coverage which will include weekends** Description TEKsystems is currently looking for RHEL Administrator with 8+ yrs of experience with RHEL 7/8/9 in an enterprise environment. Candidates will be supporting and troubleshooting issues related to RHEL OS and various x86 hardware. Details: Administrator, to be working within the CDS Operations Engineering Incident Management team providing day to day support of incidents escalated from event monitoring and client engagement. Resource will be responsible to investigate, analyze, troubleshoot incidents, and help triage business impacting events on bridgelines when required. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience with Red Hat Linux. RHEL 7, 8 and 9 5+ years of experience managing servers in as enterprise environment consisting of 2000 or more servers Demonstrate experience in troubleshooting issues related to RHEL OS and Various x86 Hardware. Experience and complete working knowledge of operating system base health/welfare and x86 midrange HP, Dell hardware troubleshooting. Knowledge and experience supporting core systems and storage platform services in which the infrastructure is dependent (DNS, Active Directory, NTP,PTP, EFS, SMTP, NIS, stateless boot, High speed NAS, RH clustering, Solid State disks) Experience in diagnosing, researching and resolving any system platform related issues. Coordination with Engineering, Operations, Build, and Application Support teams. Document all work/project activities pertinent to job function Solid understanding of storage products (NAS/SAN) Solid understanding of networking and DMZ environments Solid understanding of Midrange Hardware and Components (HP/Dell/Mellanox/SolarFlare) Working Knowledge of ITSM Remedy and Service Now Desired Qualifications Experience with enterprise tools such as Bladelogic, Discovery and Tanium is a plus Working knowledge of Jira a plus Scripting to facilitate large scale analysis - Perl, Shell, Python, Ansible​ Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Irving, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
