Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for the maintenance, repair and proper operation of hospital, refrigeration, air conditioning, evaporative cooling, mechanical ventilating and ice making equipment or equivalent experience. 

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Trade school graduate preferred.

Experience : 

• Two years' experience in the maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

Certifications/License/Registration:

• None

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to make decisions clearly and quickly.
• Must be able to withstand many hours of standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting, and moving equipment.
• Manual dexterity, good eye to hand coordination with adequate vision.
• Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to work as a team member with peers and other departments.
• Must be able to cope with agitated, hostile customers and respond calmly.
• Must be able to climb/stand on ladders to work in ceilings.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
