Job Description

About the Job

About Us:

At Imerza, we are a team of creative technologists, artists, and innovators redefining how people experience architectural visualization through real-time digital twin technology. As our company grows, we recognize that our people are our greatest asset — and we’re committed to building a supportive, high-performing, and compliant workplace where creativity and collaboration thrive.

We’re seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager who can balance strategic insight with hands-on execution — helping shape our culture, streamline operations, and support our growing team.

About the Role:

The HR Manager serves as a key partner to leadership and employees, managing all day-to-day HR operations while contributing to long-term organizational goals. This role oversees recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance — ensuring that every HR process reflects Imerza’s values of innovation, respect, and excellence.

You’ll work closely with executives and department heads to support workforce planning, policy alignment, and a positive employee experience across all levels of the organization.

What You’ll Do:

Talent Management & Employee Experience:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define roles, job levels, and competitive compensation ranges.
  • Support managers with goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development discussions.
  • Ensure employee records, organizational charts, and job descriptions remain current and accurate.
  • Develop initiatives to promote engagement, recognition, and retention.

Compensation, Benefits & Compliance:

  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, PTO, and other programs.
  • Partner with vendors and brokers to manage enrollments, renewals, and employee communications.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, etc.) and internal policies.
  • Support compensation benchmarking and pay equity reviews.
  • Track key HR metrics (turnover, headcount, hiring, time-to-fill) and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Culture & Development:

  • Promote Imerza’s culture and values through programs that strengthen connection, inclusion, and accountability.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and pulse surveys; help develop action plans to improve results.
  • Partner with managers to identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities.
  • Coach leaders on effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution.

HR Operations:

  • Maintain and enhance HR systems (e.g., Sage), ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Lead policy and handbook updates in collaboration with the executive team.
  • Manage employee relations cases with fairness, discretion, and consistency.
  • Oversee document retention, compliance audits, and reporting requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including generalist or business partner responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HR systems and reporting (Sage, Paylocity).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to balance hands-on HR operations with strategic alignment to business goals.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • This position is based in Sarasota, FL.

How to Apply:
Please submit your application through this website and email your résumé with the subject line "HR Manager Candidate" to Careers@imerza.com.

We look forward to welcoming a people-first HR leader who will help us grow with purpose and care.
