**Heavy Equipment Mechanic** **Location:** Ocoee, FL **Placement Type:** Permanent **Salary Range:** $52,000 - $72,800 annually **About the Role** We are seeking experienced **Heavy Equipment Mechanics** to join our team. In this role, you will maintain and repair a variety of heavy machinery used in construction, landscaping, wood waste recycling, and tree care. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical skills and a commitment to quality service. **Key Responsibilities** + Perform maintenance and repair on mechanical, hydro-static, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems. + Troubleshoot and conduct reactive and preventative maintenance on dealership equipment. + Accurately record and document diagnoses and procedures performed. + Read and interpret electrical schematics. + Conduct hydraulic flow and pressure testing. + Diesel experience is a plus. **Qualifications** + **3+ years** of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic. + Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, diesel equipment, and electrical systems. + Ability to read and interpret schematics. + Basic welding experience preferred. **Additional Skills** + Problem-solving and diagnostic skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong attention to detail and safety protocols. **Work Environment** + Outdoor setting - expect varying weather conditions (hot when hot, cold when cold). **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Ocoee, FL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr. $5,000 Sign-on-Bonus $1,000 paid after the first day of employment, $4,000 paid after a successful 90 day performance review conducted by your manager Benefits offered Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - Certified Employee-Owned Health insurance with 0 deductible Dental and Vision plan Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Company Paid Telehealth Program - MediOrbis 401K Retirement Plan Paid Holidays & Vacation **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Ocoee,FL. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Nov 30, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
