A day in this role

In the morning, you might verify water quality data and trend performance for the purified water loop and clean steam generator. Midday, you could be revising a Standard Operating Procedure to keep our utility systems aligned with current best practices. In the afternoon, you may coordinate a planned shutdown with vendors for preventive maintenance—and later lead a quick root cause analysis to resolve a utility alarm. Along the way, you mentor teammates, share practical insights, and keep systems safe, compliant, and reliable.

What you’ll do

• Implement, operate, and sustain clean utility systems: purified water, soft water, clean air, and clean steam.
• Create and update Standard Methods/Standard Operating Procedures for utility operations and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues; conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Plan and coordinate shutdowns with internal teams and vendors for inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Provide technical guidance and training to associates.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or 10+ years of hands-on experience with clean utility systems.
• Background in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environments.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
