General Manager

Essential General Manager restaurant job duties:

• Manage, train, monitor, and coach Crew/ Team members
• Direct and assign drive-in restaurant employees to ensure operational standards are met
• Adhere to and monitor employee compliance of policies and practices
• Perform restaurant opening and/or closing duties
• Prepare employee work schedules and make appropriate adjustments
• Monitor and maintain restaurant inventory levels
• Complete and maintain all employment and payroll records
• Reinforce a customer service mentality and resolve guest requests
• Interview and hire restaurant crew and management team members
• Prepare operational reports and develop action plans
• Develop and implement a marketing plan

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two (2) years of restaurant management experience
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and selection practices
• Leadership and supervisory practices and skills
• Basic accounting and computer skills
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
• Willingness to abide by appearance and hygiene standards
