POSITION- Fire Watch Fire watches ensure that no fires are started while welding, torch cutting or any other hot work takes place. Observe hot work (welding) ensure areas remains free of obstacles and hazardous materials. Includes bending, climbing, standing for long periods of time. Duties include: watch out for fire hazards in the workplace while work is performed by other employees, Maintain the conditions and requirements stated on the safety permit, keep flammable materials from ignition sources.
