Beacon Kalamazoo Heart Institute is seeking a full-time BC/BE Interventional Cardiology physician to join our Structural Heart Disease Fellowship Program in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Our next program starts July 1, 2026.

Michigan State University/Beacon Kalamazoo Hospital CHIP/CTO/Structural Heart Disease Fellowship Training 

The Structural Heart Disease Fellowship at Michigan State University/Beacon Kalamazoo Hospital is a one-year program that provides a 5th year of advanced interventional fellowship training focusing on high risk PCI’s like CHIP & CTO, and a significant volume of structural heart disease procedures like PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, Angiovac and Alcohol Septal Ablation for fellows with a completed cardiac catheterization and coronary interventional fellowship. This program starts on July 1st and ends on June 30th of the subsequent year.

Work Schedule:

1. Physicians interested in this position will work 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
2. Call Schedule: Currently 4 night calls and 1:5 for weekend coverage. There is call pay.

Requirements

1. Completion of previous accredited interventional cardiology fellowship training is required
2. Completion and passing of all three USMLE steps
3. ABIM board certified or board eligible in interventional cardiology by the start of the program year
4. The accepted applicant must obtain a full Michigan license
5. A valid ECFMG certificate for all foreign medical graduates
