Job Description

Description Our client, a leading full-service direct response advertising and marketing agency based in Nashville, TN, is seeking an experienced Director Response CMO (Director of Marketing) to join their rapidly growing team. This is an on-site position and candidates must reside in Middle Tennessee. Key Responsibilities: + Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable client results across all channels. + Budget Management: Oversee and optimize the marketing budget to ensure strong ROI and effective allocation of resources. + Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. + Market Research: Direct comprehensive market research efforts to identify customer trends, market opportunities, and competitive intelligence, guiding campaign strategy. + Campaign Oversight: Spearhead creative, digital, social, content, and direct response campaigns from briefing to execution and post-campaign analysis. + Analytics & Performance Measurement: Establish and monitor KPIs, leveraging data analytics for continuous improvement and optimization. + Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams including sales and product development to align marketing efforts with overall business goals. Requirements Qualifications: + Minimum of 7 years in a senior marketing leadership role (Director of Marketing or CMO) at an integrated ad agency; direct response experience preferred. + Must reside in Middle Tennessee and be available for on-site work. + Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, direct response marketing, and content marketing. + Advanced organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment. + Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in marketing technology tools (CRM, SEO, analytics platforms). + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred). + Proven track record developing innovative marketing strategies and driving client success.
