Job Title: Custom Cabinet Finisher
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying finishes to custom-made wooden cabinets, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This role involves surface preparation, staining, painting, and applying top coats to a variety of woods and veneers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, filling, and smoothing.
- Apply stains, paints, varnishes, lacquers, and other finishes using spray guns, brushes, or other tools.
- Mix and match colors to achieve desired finishes.
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
- Repair and touch up finished products as needed.
- Maintained and cleaned finishing equipment and work area.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cabinet finishing, painting, or a related field.
- Knowledge of various finishing techniques and materials.
- Ability to mix and match colors accurately.
- Proficiency with spray guns and other finishing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
