Join our dynamic healthcare education team as a Clinical Nursing Educator and play a pivotal role in training the next generation of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs). As a Clinical Nursing Educator in our Vocational Nursing (VN) Program , you will guide students through hands-on clinical instruction, preparing them for real-world success in hospitals, clinics, and long-term care settings. You'll combine your clinical expertise with innovative teaching methods to ensure each student is confident, competent, and career-ready.
Lead on-site clinical instruction in patient care, treatment procedures, and documentation.
Design, implement, and assess effective teaching strategies.
Supervise and mentor students during clinical rotations to enhance skill development.
Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Ensure adherence to BVNPT (Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians) standards.
Conduct clinical orientation sessions and student readiness evaluations.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clinical site partners.
Participate in curriculum development and continuous program improvement.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Active, unencumbered California RN license .
At least 3 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 5 years).
Proven excellence in both clinical practice and instructional delivery.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Competency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and educational technology.
Salary Range: $80,000 $105,000 (commensurate with experience)
