**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team in the manufacturing of medical devices, focusing on catheter assembly under a microscope. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Will assemble start to finish medical devices utilizing the microscope,
+ Follow and adhere to sop, line clearance, and documentation practices.
+ Read and follow work instructions and production drawings.
+ Successfully complete training on production tasks, understanding travelers/routers, identifying materials, and using production/inspection tools and equipment.
+ Operate tools and equipment, and complete necessary documentation.
+ Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks.
+ Collaborate with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality.
+ Assist Engineers in developing process documentation.
+ Receive verbal instructions and execute other assigned duties.
+ Perform inventory counts.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Minimum of 6 months of assembly, production, or small electronics experience (will train).
+ Prior experience with microscopes and medical assembly is preferred.
+ Cleanroom experience.
+ Ability to understand and perform in-process inspections to ensure quality of medical devices.
**Work Environment**
Work in a cleanroom environment with two available start times for 1st shift. The role requires the use of safety equipment during lab work such as lab coat, gloves, shoe covers, and more.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $33.35/hr.
