We are currently hiring for our part-time sitter team! We are looking for after-school babysitters to work in the Seattle and Eastside areas!

Work for a great company that provides flexibility. As a babysitter on our team, you create your own schedule based on when you are available to work. You will be scheduled with families based on your experience, availability, and location preferences. All families are background-screened members of Jovie. Sitters are responsible for keeping children safe, having fun, being active, cooking meals, handling bedtime, etc.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of professional nanny/childcare experience
• Availability from 3pm - 11pm at least two weekdays
• Ability to pass a background screen; 3 references (2 of which are childcare-related)
• A driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• Must be at least 17.5 years old

• Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes clean up of activities
• Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active play

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
• Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
• Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations
• May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner
