Psychiatrist – Residency Program Directorship – NYC Boro

Join a nationally recognized Psychiatry Residency Program as a leader committed to excellence in psychiatric education. In this pivotal role, you will oversee curriculum development, ensure full compliance with ACGME standards, guide trainee evaluation and wellness initiatives, and assess clinical competency across all levels. You will spearhead a mission-driven recruitment process, represent the department on key committees, and collaborate with clinical and research leaders to integrate innovative training models and high-quality scholarly activity into the residency experience. Approximately 60% of your time will be dedicated to shaping and advancing the program’s administrative and educational vision, complemented by 40% clinical effort.

Candidates must hold an MD and be board-certified in general psychiatry, possess a New York State medical license, and bring at least three years of leadership, administrative, and teaching experience within an ACGME-accredited training program.
